Reg. No.: 103/1V/2006

Holy Word Inland Mission (HWIM) is a non-profit organization founded in 2006, committed to social development with a special focus on palliative care, mental health, and family welfare.
HWIM was founded by Mr. Santhosh P. Thomas, Founder and Managing Trustee. The mission was born out of profound personal experiences, including two life-threatening accidents from which he was miraculously healed by God. These experiences shaped a clear calling to serve the needy and suffering, especially those requiring compassionate palliative care.
Our mission is to support the poor, destitute, elderly, children, persons with disabilities, and chronically ill patients, helping them live with dignity through palliative care services, awareness programs, and social welfare initiatives.

ABOUT MISSION LOGO
The book symbolizes the Holy Bible. The dove symbolizes the Holy Spirit. The candle symbolizes the light of care, compassion and knowledge.
Holy Word Inland Mission (HWIM) supports patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses by providing compassionate care that improves quality of life. Our services include palliative support, emotional and spiritual care, tele-service assistance, livelihood support, medical equipment distribution (wheelchairs, walkers), and emergency hospital support as needed.
HWIM Mission Stations are community-based outreach hubs that bring the mission of Holy Word Inland Mission into everyday life across districts and neighborhoods. We are prayerfully establishing these Mission Stations as locally rooted centers of holistic care, community support, and Christ-centered compassionate service.
Through prayer, practical support, and love, we seek to offer comfort, encouragement, dignity, and hope to individuals and families facing illness and challenging seasons of life.
We warmly invite individuals, churches, volunteers, and mission partners to join us in praying for, supporting, and establishing HWIM Mission Stations. Together, we can ensure that every community we serve experiences spiritual solace, compassionate care, and lasting hope.
HWIM has identified an urgent need to establish a Children’s Home for the children of our palliative care beneficiaries who are in need, in full compliance with India’s child care standards and legal guidelines. This home will provide a safe and nurturing environment offering shelter, nutritious food, education, healthcare, counseling, spiritual guidance, and holistic development.
The Children’s Home will function as a faith-based haven, supported by trained caregivers and strong child protection practices, ensuring the dignity, safety, and overall well-being of every child entrusted to our care.
We prayerfully seek God’s guidance and provision to open the right doors and make this vision a reality. If God leads you to partner, support, or guide us in this mission, please contact us at holywordmission@gmail.com or visit the HWIM office.
HWIM members play a vital role in supporting the monthly activities of Holy Word Inland Mission. Through their faithful support, we are able to bring comfort, encouragement, and hope to helpless people under our palliative care.
Financial constraints have always been a challenge in realizing our vision. However, with the continued support of our members, we are steadily moving forward toward fulfilling our mission.
The affairs of Holy Word Inland Mission are broadly managed by its trust board. All important decisions, evaluations, or any structural changes are taken by the Board of Trustees. Our organization continues its services, which have become a catalyst for positive change in society.
The works and accounts of the Holy Word Inland Mission are monitored periodically by the Board of the Trustees. They would meet periodically and undertake evaluations of the works based on the following visible indicators.
The Annual Mission Review & Evaluation Meeting is a yearly gathering of our trustees, leadership team, staff, volunteers, and mission partners to prayerfully review ministry activities, evaluate impact, ensure transparency, and seek God’s guidance for the year ahead. It strengthens accountability, unity, and strategic planning as we move forward in fulfilling our mission of serving with compassion and integrity.
